Two Women

Growing up in London's East End, Sue Dalston has always been exposed to danger and violence. Her mother's neglect and her father's abuse took a toll on her, and her marriage only brought more suffering until she was forced to take desperate measures and end it by killing her husband. The only comfort she has is knowing that her four children are now safe. But when she ends up sharing a cell with another murderer, Matilda Enderby, their destinies become intertwined in unexpected ways.
