Homeland

The memoir Homeland tells the story of George Obama, the Kenyan half brother of President Obama. George was inspired by his elder brother's example and dedicated himself to improving the lives of his people. In 2006, he reunited with his brother, then a U.S. senator, for the second time (the first being when he was five). Their shared father was a mysterious figure to both of them, having died when George was only six months old. Raised by his mother and stepfather, a French aid worker, in a wealthy suburb of Nairobi, George's journey is truly remarkable.
