Lula, a bail-bonds office worker in New Jersey, witnessed celebrity chef Stanley Chipotle's gruesome death. Now, with the help of bond enforcement officer Stephanie Plum, Lula must uncover the killers before she becomes their next victim. Meanwhile, security expert Carlos Manoso, aka Ranger, has enlisted Stephanie for a confidential assignment. Someone within Rangeman is leaking sensitive client information, and Stephanie must race against time to catch the culprit, all while keeping her grandmother safe from harm.
